If you would like to be kept informed of our journey, please also visit the Keep In Touch section of the web-site Background Company Information Getcomfortable Limited is a company owned and managed by Norman Comfort. Inspired by working on high profile credible brands, and also learning more about the skills involved in brand management Norman wanted to develop his own brand. Norman came up with the name Getcomfortable to communicate a feeling of confidence, ethical values, creativity and professionalism. Norman developed his own web-site www.getcomfortable.co.uk in 2002. It was ahead of its time and featured many of the social marketing concepts now found on sites such as wordpress and face book. Norman used the site to promote his values, communicate things he was doing., and showcase his photos and artwork. In 2008 Norman created the company Getcomfortable Limited. Norman wanted to create a company that would embody the values that are important to him and allow him to focus on the aspects of marketing he cares the most about. This web-site was launched slightly afterwards. The company logo was photographed and developed by Norman after a walk around North Norfolk with some close friends. The sofa used in the logo was purchased by his grandparents when he moved into his own home in Norwich. It is still used to watch TV or read from today! More About Norman Comfort Norman has been passionately involved in Marketing for over 15 years working on high profile brands such as Kettle Chips, and Black n' Red notebooks. He loves the blend of creativity and customer satisfaction that good marketing provides. As well as building a wealth of marketing experiences, Norman has achieved considerable academic success holding the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Post Graduate Diploma, and has recently completed his Masters In Business Administration at the University of East Anglia. Norman has also developed strong team building, leadership and communication skills by spending a month trekking around Ecuador with a group of strangers from across the globe back in 2007! He cares about people, marketing with integrity, and behaving responsibly in the local environment and community. When not at work, Norman likes to cook, listen to music, enjoys the theatre, and dabbles with a little photography.
